So glad I found this place :)

Hey all,

I have been ravenously reading through this forum and the articles for the last few weeks and I figured it was time to finally post and join the community. I am 30 years old and have been into fitness/strength and conditioning since I was 15 or so. I did some amateur bodybuilding in my late teens, got my M.S. in Exercise Science in college and became a strength and conditioning coach in my mid 20's. I caught the firefighting bug shortly after leaving college and now I am a career firefighter. No history of gear use, but studying and looking to do my first cycle this year. I look forward to getting to know some of you crazy bastards :). Thanks.

Welcome aboard. Did you have any luck finding work with strength and conditioning coaching? I'd love to do that myself, but can't see finding much work in my area.

Perrin,

There is definitely strength and comditionig work around, it just depends at what level you are looking for (pro, college, high school, etc...) I worked for a college here then did mostly small groups and individual work. Getting on with a college or professional team takes time and you gotta pay your dues. You don't make much until you become a head strength coach, but it can be a very rewarding job.

I don't make much anyway, it's just something I've thought about for a long time. I think I've got a talent for it, I just lack any formal education.

Anyway, I won't hijack your intro. Welcome to Meso, there's really a lot more to this place than just AAS info (although there's a ton of that, too). Make sure to check out the cycle logs section and the training section.

Thanks guys. As far as stats here is where I am at right now:

5'10"
212lbs (currently cutting down from 215)
17%bf (caliper estimate, getting DEXA scan next week)
Squat - 455
Bench - 320
Deadlift - 415 (recovering from back strain)
Haven't done a cycle yet. Looking to do my first this year.

Welcome to Meso fellow hose-dragger!! Lol..

You got some decent lifts for being natty. Keep it up man. Looking forward to seeing you around.
