Social distancing, police state, and martial law?......

Pretty crazy time to be alive. Not a great combination, people locked inside for months. Now a bunch of riots and looters. I wonder if martial law is around the corner? What are your thoughts? I've seen some pretty awful videos online of mobs beating business owners nearly to death. Clearly those people aren't marching for the injustices done to George Floyd, but are opportunistic lowlife criminals who are using it as an excuse. And worse people online are defending the cowards pieces of shit

My opinion is it is absolutely insane for these folks to justify burning their own communities down and then get on social media and bitch like bitches when a few protesters get shot, run over, slammed to the ground and called stupid fucking bitch, etc. Gangsta life and death go hand in hand.

I do think instead of letting these communities get destroyed they should just feed that cop that put his knee on Floyd to the animals and be done with it. I can look into his eyes and see hes a piece of shit.

The Paul Harvey of this situation is it will get WAY WORSE before it gets better.

I wonder if so many people would be out "protesting" if we hadn't just been on lockdown for the last several months

It's interesting to think about that. However, I highly doubt it would have made a difference.

This country has been divided in a major way since the last election, frankly it's only gotten worse since the election. Police brutality has been an issue for years and every killing that does make the news results in worse riots than the last.

If you watch some of the shit these cops are doing, I'm surprised that the protests aren't extremely more violent. The current protests aren't even a measured response to what the cops are doing - quarantine or no quarantine, it was clear from the start that bad things were going to result from this. There's been too many cops getting acquitted over the years for people not to lose their shit when it happens again... And this is just the one that happened to make the news in a big way - you can only put so much air into a balloon until it pops.

I always respect and enjoy your take on things but the shit these law enforcement officers deal with on the regular would completely shatter most people's view on humanity in general. That being said the officers were wrong this time. I had thoughts that the officer with the knee on the neck was justified until I saw the video with the other two ( bringing the count helping to restrain Floyd to three) I changed my mind instantly and screamed "what a fucking pussy".

And in regards to your point about the division as a result of the last election....
What in the world can America do? There was extreme racism when the country had a person of color as President. Does the fact that a white man is elected make it right for people of color to act like animals? Does the fact that the nominee you voted for lost make it ok to act like a fool?
I've had the extreme pleasure of making absolutely great friends with people of all colors as well as enemies so I'm not racist by any means.

I see no end to it.

Burn it to the fucking ground and start over.

I don't disagree but that's their job. Further, most people's view of humanity would be shattered if you had to be on the receiving end of a cops alleged justice. Cops are intended to exist to protect the population - when was the last time anyone really felt protected by cops? They generate revenue by taxing and fining you - even if that means taking your assets when you've done nothing wrong. Want to really lose faith in humanity and your government, read about civil asset forfeiture.

As far as what America can do, I don't know exactly but what they're doing now isn't much different than the shit that built this country so they can't be far off. The media and the current administration have thrown gas onto the flames of the division that has been there for decades - I think it's been generally neutral until this last election where things have just gone down hill in every regard. It doesn't have much to do with who actually won, it matters more on what they did after they won... Which is a whole lot of talking and not a lot of doing anything worthwhile.

Burning it to the ground seems to be where we're headed... I'm not going to say it's right, but I'm sure as shit not going to say it's wrong.

Guy dies during arrest today in Colorado. I’m assuming the man was white (his name was Chad). They haven’t released much info other than he went limp while being tased. I’d bet the farm on there being zero protests over Chad’s death.

Cops almost always get a bad rap for anything they do.
Once the footage is finally released, their actions re justified much of the time.
I'll agree, not this one.

That's straight up murder.

If I was a black Male in Minneapolis, I would have burnt down the precinct as well!
Given that the officer was ...
1. Not fired
2 No charges were being pressed.

But the reality is, he will be charged and tried.

Looting a local business wont help justice.

Bad people do bad things, police, civilian or otherwise, what's to stop him from just murdering someone, even if he wasnt a cop?
Guy is a piece of shit and will rot in jail.

As for ANTIFA
they ARE terrorists

They ARE the Nazis.
They remind me of the Nazi brown shirts..
Red sleeve, violent, attack anyone who doesnt agree.

Let's all not forget that Nazis were socialists who hated jews.
ANTIFA are violent socialists who hate jews under the pretense of "Anti Zionist"

Antifa are about as close to Nazis as is possible to become, they need to be stamped out immediatly and brutally
