b-12 is legal i believe. its only a vitamin. can you believe a vitamin has to be prescribed?

You're 100% correct.

B12 is a vitamin, it's completely legal.

When was the last time you went to the fruit shop and needed a script for a bag of oranges?

Not sure how it works in the states, but here down under we have these b12 chewable tablets produced by a company called 'solgar' which are just as effective as the shots themselves.

I did a 3month cycle of the shots, and a 3month cycle of these 1mg tabs. There's not a big difference in levels at all.

They pretty much just dissolve in your mouth and don't have to be broken down by your digestive system.

are you serious about the tabs? i know the company solgar, its like a brown bottle with a beige label. down here in the states you need a script. can you believe that? but you can get slin OTC.

Probably a dumb question, but why injectable b12 instead of just b12 tabs? I'd hate to go to the hassle of jabbing when I could just pop some oral vitamins. What's the advantage?

thx

For most people lowered levels of B12 are not due to a lack of B12 in the diet. It is due to the fact the chemicals in the body that utilize it are diminished. The injection circumvents this process by delivering the B12 to the blood without the need for absorbtion through the small intestine. The sublingual versions of tabs may do this as well.

b12 tabs are basically un-effective. only 10% that you take in is actually processed for use in the body. 90% is wasted. thats why you have to inject.
1000mcg's a day with an insulin pin....energy, increased appetite, better mood, better skin, ect.....most people dont get enuff b-12.

Latinking is right, when taken orally most of the b-12 is destroyed in the liver,by injecting the liver is bypassed.
