They don't have 100ml sealedhttps://buyneedles.ca/store/english/vials-accessories/sterile-serum-vials.html
Either buy TOP brand sterile vials (i.e. Hospira = big pharma)I wanted to grab a couple 100ml sealed sterile vials, but forgot to when I got my stuff from medlabsupply. Hoping to get them somewhere for less than medlabsupply shipping cost
Oh I assumed, that's why I'm not buying off ebay. I'll switch to sterilizing my own at some point.Either buy TOP brand sterile vials (i.e. Hospira = big pharma)
or sterilize vials yourself, if properly done (i.e. baking, boiling in pressure cooker, hydrogen peroxide, dipping in alcohol, formaldehyde, lye, etc) you'll have true sterile vials at a fraction of the price.
Most garage suppliers are actually supplying not only unsterile but actually visible dirty vials.
Even if they actually own an autoclave, they are cutting corners somehow.
There are some RUMORS that Medlabs tip off LE on large ordersOh I assumed, that's why I'm not buying off ebay. I'll switch to sterilizing my own at some point.
I know medlabsupply and medlabgear have ones that are quality, just hoping to avoid their shipping fees
Really? Well that fucking sucks. There are some RUMORS that Medlabs tip off LE on large orders
others say LE has cracked their Emails/order forms and watch large orders.
Either way
privacy makes another great reason for sterilizing your vials yourself.

1000 thx for this m8, that's some valuable info right thereNot sure if they have them, but have you checked Amazon and/or ebay?
It appears MedLabSupply has them @ about $5.00 each... & the Non-sterile one's for only $1.90 each... Seeing as you're going to be filling them w/ 100mls of gear, I'm also guessing you're not only fluent & comfortable w/ not only making your own home brewed gear, but also w/ properly sterilizing your beakers and glassware for doing so, eh? Not sure why you wouldn't just properly sterilize all your own vials of any size too...====>>>> Yes, I realize some of aforementioned has already been referenced, but here's a tried and true method for doing so...
easy peasy....= I use the same process/procedure for all lab glassware used in brewing your gear as well: Beakers, & Glass media Bottles
* Initially rinse all vials out...
* Let soak for a few mins. in a warm bath of h20 and anti-bacterial dish soap...
* Rinse out thoroughly again....
* Place again in a new bath solution of Distilled Water & 90% Isopropyl alcohol...
* Remove from solution while turning each upside down in order to remove as much Distilled .H2O & I.Alcohol solution as possible....
* Place all vials upright in rows on baking sheet/pan lined w/ aluminum foil....
* Cover each vial and/or glassware individually w/ a small square piece of aluminum foil which was also dipped in Alcohol Solution...
* Place in oven @ 350-400 degrees for a few hours.... Now, both your vials and ALL brewing glassware is 100% Sterile, squeaky clean & crystal clear...
Additionally, if you're simply buying and starting off w/ a 100ml sterile & sealed vial/jug, think about how many times you're going to be poking into the top of a 13 or 20mm rubber butyl stopper w/ a 18-20g draw or fill needle in order to eventually pin/use 100mls...? The rubber stopper top will become compromised b-4 to long, & you'll end up w/ pieces of rubber floating in your bottle at some point...Oh lordy, just initially filling up the sealed/sterile 100ml vial/jug will take forever....
Sorry for the long read... just rambling here and adding my thoughts & 2 Cents...lol
Hey bro, so what is your method for transferring to those vials after you bottle top filter into a media bottle? Do you do it in open air?Not sure if they have them, but have you checked Amazon and/or ebay?

You can do it with sterile septa cover on media bottle where is your filtered gear, you withdraw with 60ml syringe and sterile 18g needle and then you just pop off rubber stopper from sterile vial just slightly to slide in needle and then you inject 10 ml in there.Hey bro, so what is your method for transferring to those vials after you bottle top filter into a media bottle? I was able to find a solution that is specified as a remover of biological burden on medical instruments and objects.Do not use dish soap, get a lab glassware cleaner. You can find them on amazon, I use alconex and the container has lasted forever.
Final rinse with 70% isopropyl by itself.
Heat to 500 degrees for at least one hour, allow to cool to room temp in oven and then repeat process.
Hey bro, so what is your method for transferring to those vials after you bottle top filter into a media bottle? Do you do it in open air?
At least use a plastic bagYou can do it with sterile septa cover on media bottle where is your filtered gear, you withdraw with 60ml syringe and sterile 18g needle and then you just pop off rubber stopper from sterile vial just slightly to slide in needle and then you inject 10 ml in there.
Or u can exchange 18g needle for smaller needle and penetrate rubber stopper and inject 10ml.
Up to you, depends if you want to have hole in your stopper or not.
Did you mean AlconOx?Do not use dish soap, get a lab glassware cleaner. You can find them on amazon, I use alconex and the container has lasted forever.

Read the instructions/specs to see if the solution just evaporates by itself, or if they need additional rinsingI was able to find a solution that is specified as a remover of biological burden on medical instruments and objects.
It is stated as well that its used for pre-sterilization
However its not specified that it's for glass.-ware
You think i could use something like that?
