Nova,
I have experience brewing 300-400 bottles at once so i think i can help you out with your questions.
Say you already know how to mix your Powder/BA/BB and carrier oil together and it has gone into a solution (Oil goes completely clear and haze free) . So now your ready to filter...
My opinion is that syringe filtering is just unacceptable... I hate it so much, i would go ahead and use Bottle Top Filters even if im just making 60ML of Primo (cause Fuck primo is to expensive to make any more than that lol )
Thinking your prolly only making 100-200ML's i would spend the extra $40 for a brake Bleeder vaccum, and $30 ON (2) 250ML bottle top filters. Its so much easier you will thank me, and your hands will praise me because they wont be destroyed from pressing a syringe filters for hours....
When i sterilize 400+ unopened vials, i wash them in Distilled water and then wash them in 91% alcohol and then line them up in a oven pan. I make sure to cover them with a alcohol wiped down aluminum foil, and then bake them at 220 F for 40 MIN to dry out the alcohol, and then another 80 min at 435 F to dry heat sterilize them. If you go straight to high temps without letting the alcohol burn off first they will have burnt on alcohol stains on them.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE NO MOVING AIR IN THE ROOM, AND NO ANIMALS WAKING AROUND, FOOD COOKING, PEOPLE PASSING BY MOVING AIR AROUND NOTHING TO LET STUFF IN THE AIR DROP DOWN IN THEM......CAUSE IT WILL HAPPEN!
BUT!!!! to answer your question!!!
Yes, you can sterilize your vials, keeping them covered, and use a syringe filter to just filter it right into the open vials. You just dont want them uncovered for any longer than you have to, so with slow syringe filters, i would fill one up and put the stopper in as i finish each one.
Ask if you have any other questions, but i prolly wont check back in until monday !
