[SIZE=-1]Kirk Radomski, the convicted steroids dealer from Long Island who was one of the chief witnesses in the Mitchell Report, says in his new book that Sen. George Mitchell asked him if he knew of steroid use by some of baseball's biggest names, including the Yankees' Alex Rodriguez.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Radomski says in "Bases Loaded" that Mitchell also asked him about perennial All-Stars and potential Hall of Famers Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling and Gary Sheffield. Only Sheffield subsequently was named in the Mitchell Report on steroids in baseball when it was released in December 2007.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Radomski, who in an ESPN interview Sunday said he sold steroids and human growth hormone to "maybe two, three hundred" players, wrote that he told Mitchell he had no knowledge of any performance-enhancing drug use by those five players....[/SIZE]
