Hi there "Bosnian brawler"
Thanks for your reply, I really wasn't expecting any anymore... so it's a pleasant surprise.
Yeah, get myself hurt.. I can see your point.
I did forget to mention in my first message that I actually do have I spotter. When I'm benchpressing with the barbell, squatting or doing a clean and jerk I ask my brother to keep an eye on me and stand by to assist.
Besides, I need a spotter (like most people I guess..) to help me getting the barbell of the "rack" and putting it back decently when bench pressing.
I did get hurt one time but that was during my first-ever deadlift attempt. I was really just pulling off some crazy moves with quite a heavy weight..... stupid of me, I know, I learned my lesson
But as far as the chaires go being used as a rack... that's been going fine so far really.. given my spotter's around that is
biggest problem really whas the pulling/chinning. I totally improvised on that :d when I saw the rope in a local shop. It reminded me of MR T as Clubber lang, training in ROCKY 3
Now don't think I'm trying to get out of this easily. I do appreciate your concern and advice.
If you have any other "ready-to-use" tips I would really like to hear them.
Besides, if not too much trouble I would like to hear how you train. At home, in a gym..?
Which exercises do you mainly use..? records on weights being used? Just to get a good general idea.
Thanks and see you round.
Filippe
