Swale?

Hey fellas,
I have been presribed 100mg test cyp. a month by my physicians assistant. I know I might get flamed for what im going to say but I had to do it. I didnt feel like that was helping me so i upped it to 200mg per week with 250iu hcg twice weekly. Now I've been trying to make it a full week before another shot but by the fifth day I am already burned out and tired. So should I take my test every 5th day? Oh yeah and so everyone knows my last # was 184, and I have an appt with endo in two weeks. Any advice would be appreciated.

Really the dr. prescribed 100mg/month. That's not enough to do shit. The bad thing about doing your own diagnosis, is you never know your levels. Going by feeling is not a true indicator of test levels.

I was in the same boat myself, tested in the lower 200 range, I am on 220 per week now. I have to be tested next week, so I am unsure of my levels. 200mg might help you a lot or a little, everyone is different. Get your estrogen levels checked too.

Hey dude check this out, I got my latest results back, at 220/week I am testing higher than I was at 350/10 days. I don't get it. but that's what the labs say. Make sure you get the lab work done.

Good luck

Wow thats weird. What labs should I ask for other than testosterone. Im going to see endocrinoligist on the 24th and I think Im going to have to push him to help me so I want to be ready with good questions. Do you take anti estrogens? I have some bloat. Thanks

The Dr. also told me to check my thyroid, only because it was beleived my P-gland was causing the problem. Ask for LH, Estradiol, free and bioavailable test. I am seeing an endo. I had high estrogen and nipple issues, he didn't want to do anything for me, infact he stated he never checks estrogen levels. I had to fight for all the tests I have had done. Finally he gave me tamoxifen for the nipple issues. No arimidex for the estrogen, but strangely it is in the normal range even though my test levels are higher.

JD,,,Have you checked out Swale's latest program,,,You might want to get into it,,,He's looking for guys with estrogen issues,,,VDC

Thanks VDC, I just joined the board so I haven't spent to much time here. I will look into it.

IMPO, physicians prescribing TRT must ALWAYS monitor estrogen.

The seeming inconsistencies could be caused by the interval between the injection and the labwork.

I do not know where your levels are, but if you are feeling "burned out" by the fifth day, it is more likely you are actually taking too much. Going over the top of normal range makes men feel this way, so they only feel god right after a shot, as their serum androgen levels are rising. It should not be this way. This is why I preach that TRT takes a man no higher than the top of normal range. Above that is no place to live, and any doctor who prescribes to this level is purposefully damaging the health of the patient.

Lesson to Swale!!!

Swale know's his stuff!! He lecture's for a major pharmaceutical company; to endocronoligist on how to correctly set up and monitor HRT patients. I know their are spelling error's in this message. Do not flame me for that. Swale lectured to the group of Endo's that I use'd to go to before I swithced to him. I strongly suggest you get intouch with him and come aboard. I had some of the same issue's you are haveing and he straightened them out in the first month I became a patient of his.
