swale's opinion on using dostinex for improved libido?

As a patient of his I can tell you with some degree of certainty that he would not want his patients to mess with this or anything else that will mess with your
hormonal levels. It makes his job much harder, like shooting in the dark.

Sorry if I am stepping on your feet Dr. I know how you stand on this so I thought I'd chime in hope it's OK. ;)

Prolactin's Rears it Soft Head?

Why does it seem that every time I get into week 5-7 I strat getting erection problems in which the erection starts out hard then weakens (softens) within 5 minutes. This seems like a prolactin problem. I am taking Nolv and DIM and occassionally Dos. and I think the Dos is making the situation better but I do not take it for a sustained period of time. Does Dos. work fast of does it need to build up in your system?

I have not used it myself but I have done tons of research on it because I have had issues here as well. Some claim almost immediate effects while others claim a week or two. The dose required is VERY small and is usually twice a week I believe. I'd have to dig up my research to be more specific, why don't you get a lab drawn and see what your prolactin levels are if you think that may be it?

Your E2 (or anything else) could be out of range as well just because you are taking an anti-e does not mean it's in range could be low, could be high, either would hurt your equipment.
5-7 weeks out is when your levels plateau (assuming you are on cyp or enanthate) so this would be the point that you would want things to come together, not fall apart.

Sounds to me like something is not right with your balance if it were me I'd get labs done, it's the only way you can know for sure.
If you mess with Dostinex it may only prolong your finding the true solution. My point being.....If you are in a state of hormonal balance you should have no need for Dostinex.

Just my 2 cents believe me I have been where you are, just trying to help out.

Of course there may be other reasons for your "issue" but at least this way you could rule out your hormonal balance and look elsewhere.

Weeks 5-7 of what? AAS cycle? Wrong forum.

Could be but not sure toc, clarify are you starting or on TRT?

Due to the overlap of ester in test cyp or enanthate it can take 4-6 weeks before levels are stabilized after changing or adjusting your dose. Believe me I know through experience this is fact. Earthdog, I know you know this I thought for a second your comment was directed at me.

Perhaps you are right toc67guru is in the wrong forum, I assumed he was referring to TRT but you may be right he may have posted this on the wrong board but my advice still holds true imho.

it is specster who talked about a cycle i am merely asking for swale's opinion on dostinex for improved libido.

i think you's may have misunderstood this.

I just do not have any real experience with it. Only one patient tried it as I monitored him, and he gave up on it within a few weeks.
