Swiss bar vs Regular Barbell

I'm coming of my second rotor cuff tear in two years so I'd like to avoid a third. My gym doesn't have a Swiss bar but I can pick one up for $80 and use it for my home bench.

I moved to just dumbells but the closer I get to 100lbs the more of a pain in the ass they are to lift up into position.

Do you find the Swiss bar works your chest just as good?

Does it feel better on your shoulders during a chest workout?

I hear you on the 100lb db's and they sure are a bitch to get into position, especially on incline.

As for Swiss bars my gym has one and it does feel different placing your hands in a neutral position which does reduce stress on the shoulders somewhat.

Do you get the same chest pump?

I'd love to try one, but my gym doesn't have one. Seems like it'd be about the same amount of chest activation as dumbbells in the neutral position.
