swiss bar

I'm planning to upgrade my homegym and get a new rack with a matching swiss bar. Mainly to do skull crushers safely. Also heard it's great for bench press, because less strain on the shoulders and some guys claim it's even more effective than a standard barbell. Also interested in doing military press with it.

Any experiences? Do you think it's worth the price?

I’ve been wanting a Swiss bar for a while. I’ve also been thinking about a cambered Swiss bar.

Currently heavily invested in using my smith machine with fat grips for a little extra ROM, but as soon as I get off that kick I’m gonna snag one.

I can see where it would be another tool in the tool box. Much like the trap bar. It would have it's uses but wouldn't be a make or break deal. It could be used for hammer curls overhead work etc.

Bent over rows, skull crushers, hammer curls, chest and shoulders, some type of meadow row too if you put the one end in a landmine corner press. Also allows for neutral grip, onv
