Switching dose and added HCG

I have been doing 200mg of Test Cyp with 1mg AI weekly through a TRT clinic. I got my blood work down 2 weeks ago and everything was in range (T 675, e2 25). However, I have switch to trt and HCG biweekly and drop TRT to 160mg. I am still taking 1mg of AI weekly plus daily finasteride at .5mg. Should I hold out on blood work for another 4 weeks or get it sooner. My fear is e2 might spike since I was around 25 back when I was doing weekly shots. My new cycle has both HCG 500iu weekly and the finasteride.

Are you saying 1 injection every other week? That's a horrible dosing schedule. You might be able to pull that off if you use test U though. For test cyp e3.5d is minimum IMO. Large infrequent boluses of medium length esters tend to spike E2 hard and amplify side effects. Essentially you're putting your body on a roller coaster. You will get a huge influx of androgens and by the end of the two weeks you will be low. It's likely that your mood, energy level, libido etc will follow this pattern as well. More frequent injections keep hormone level steady as well as your mood and tend to have the lowest side effects. If the clinic demands this you should switch providers or just get UGL and DIY.

The clinic would not do bi weekly. That is why I left and am going ugl bi weekly at 80mg e3.5d. also doing 250iu hcg e3.5d. Just not sure if the hcg and finastaride will mess with e2.

At 160mg per week there is no reason to take an aromatase inhibitor. This culture of crushing e2 does not make sense unless you are experiencing significant unwanted side effects of estradiol. All drugs have side effects. Did your trt clinic mention the long term side effects of arimidex? Consider this if you are only treating the numbers on your hormone profile.

I hope you remain unaffected by the finasteride. That stuff wrecked me for a few years. Haven’t used it since 2008 lol. I wanted to try and save my hair too when it started running back on me, but in hindsight I would have tried another approach instead of fina.

But at best, all I would have been able to do is to slow my hair loss down. It was going to fall out regardless of gear use. I decided to embrace the gear use and just wave bye-bye to the hair. My head is round and I look ok without the hair.

Regardless, like the others have said, you have to get more frequent with injections. Personally I do daily injections but you gotta do every 5 days or less with cypionate and enanthate. Minimum. Stability is what you want. You are set up for roller coaster mode now. You’ll feel so much better going to more frequent injections. You should start at 2 injections a week imo. Like Monday and Thursday.

You’ll just have to wait and see how much the HCG will affect you. Some people aromatize heavily on HCG. Some others, not so much. It’s an individual thing. Plus the quality disparity between types and brands of HCG is significant.

Of course they didn't not talk about side for arimidex. After a little light reading definitely going to drop it and see were e2 is at on my next blood work.

Was taking 1mg of fin for about 3 months and it made me a emotional rollercoaster. Could have been the 200mg test once a week too. I have switched to .5mg and it has balanced out. Hair growth hasnt started but my loss has pretty much stopped.
Plan on starting at 2 injections a week might switch to 3 in a couple weeks. Thank baby Jesus for this forum. That clinic had me going down a deep dark path. First 6 months at 200mg was great but damn I started to crash at day 6 about 2 months ago.

Oh, now I understand. In that case injecting twice a week should keep E2 the same if not lower it a bit. Some people see an increase in E2 from hCG though. I would just start your protocol and monitor for high E2 sides then I would do blood work after about four or six weeks. Blood work is really the only way to figure it out.

Do you protocol then test after 4+ weeks. adjust and retest as needed.

What was your starting weight / body fat? I would be digging for why we may be chasing numbers after reading the thread.

Great reply I fully agree with you, I also micro dose trt. Daily is best. Regards to Fin I never had the nerve to take it although I bought some, I couldn't risk the sides so boldness comes knocking on my door too
