Switching from pharma TRT

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, I’m still learning how to search through this forum.

I’ve been on TRT since puberty due to a congenital defect but I’m losing my insurance so I’m going this route to try to save money.

Is there anything I should expect to be different with the switch, assuming the source is good? I’ve been on 125 mg/week cypionate for over a decade and my bloodwork has always been good. I don’t have to change my dose or anything, right? Should I get bloodwork soon after starting just to play it safe, or stick with my yearly schedule? If yes, how soon?

With proof of a legit prescription / previous treatment, you can use a community health clinic, which offers cheap appointments based on income, to get refill prescriptions.

Pharma 200mg 10ml testosterone is $20-25 / with Goodrx.

Even with the cost of the appointment, the cheap price of the prescription will end up being the same as you’d pay for decent UGL + shipping, and be far higher quality.
