Symptoms

I am currently taking 2 grains of Thy. Blood levels of T4 free and t3 free near median but TSH .19

The symptoms I am getting are extreme anger, hot and sweaty mostly in the day starting in the very early morning. Irritable, down mood, bad sleep, agitated, restless, fingers spasm with a little tremor in a couple fingers.

With a Total T of 400 and E2 of 21, and with a T of 522, Free of 159 and E2 of 47 I was getting these symptoms. I have had them on every combination of T that I was on. Every combination of Total T free T and E2.

This is really affecting my marriage. I know these are symptoms of both T and thyroid.

Does this sound more like T or Thyroid symptoms.

Any help would be appreciated.

Alot of those sound like your thyroid med. Have you tried lowering it?

Just did today. So you don't see that kind of stuff from Low T?

I am on 1 testim now and in the past on that dose my E2 was never high, 21 or 23, I am sure it isn't high now. I will test in a couple of weeks.

does sound more hyperthyroid. The labs may not be telling the whole picture as they all look good with some exageration. If it were me, I'd be cutting my thyroid dose in half and then observing---along with my doc.

I concur with HeadDoc, except, I'd lower dosage by 1/2 grain first.

I agree. I have observed some of the symptoms you mentioned from hyperthyroidism in my father. His case was a bit more complicated however. Not only were his free T3 and free T4 very high, but his TSH was very high as well. When endocrinologists see these kind of lab results, they are certain it is a lab error. It wasn't.
