Syringe filters

Anyone know if these would be good?

I know most people use Whatman filters, but with shipping to Europe, i can't find them, without paying alot for shipping, and taxes.

I will only be filtering small amounts of gear.

I use the same ones. No issues. Used Whatman before. What man is by far the best but these lil guys work just fine. No more than 50ml through the filter before changing it for a new one. Stay safe!

Can you explain why whatman are the best? Can you put more volume through them?

If you have ever used Whatman and compared it to these others, you will know the difference in quality. The cheap ones feel cheap, Whatman feels like it is built better and more durable. But this is my 2 cents based on my own preference.

I've never used whatman before so I wouldn't know, that's why I asked. Oh okay, that makes sense, I've always read that whatman are preferable over others, but I never knew why.

Do you back fill a 3mL when you filter or do you use a higher volume syringe?

I use 5ml syringes. Got tired of using a caulking gun set up. Of course I don't mind the work however I usually only do 5G at a time for my own use.
