can you tell by taste if gear is bunk? i have inpel eq and brovel test and neither of them taste like anything.

yes you def can they all have different smell;s and taste if the EQ doesnt smell like anything it is fake it should have a real sweet smell to it. put a drop on your palm and rub it then smell do it with the test as well and then try to compare it with a anoter bottle of test. i always do this with all my gear so i can rember wich each brands and esters smell like when they are real its one of the easiest ways to find out if there is actuly anything in it the fact that your eq and test have no taste is a bad thing IMO
