Is the goal to make me feel bad for asking that? Or make me not ask questions? You realize the less seriously you take someones question the less seriously they will take advice they get, even if it's good advice.
Or do you just struggle to contemplate someone having actual analytical thought processes?

I asked a serious question to get a serious answer, some people actually gave pretty good answers.

You missed the point. Regardless, youve received some very sound advice here - i hope you consider all of it.

@Seth Anderson Why did you come here?

You have rejected every piece of advice given by some extremely knowledgeable people.

If you think you already know the answers just go do whatever.

I have literally not rejected any advice? Feel free to point out where I have?
I have said that I'd like to discuss somethings, and I have questioned some things, but it's quite a stretch to call that rejection. If anything i want to understand more.
But I guess for someone completely incapable of discussing something it then becomes interpreted as rejection.

Here you go:
Diet and workout plan I put together myself so tell me if I have made any mistakes please.

You said the same as the other guys, I need to eat more but how much?

To which the board generously responds:

2800 calories? Youre gonna need a lot more than that you are 6 feet tall...go eat 4000 a day.
Personally I think 4000 is excessive.

Then don't fucking ask. You already think you have the right answer so don't ask.

And your dietician is a dietician. Not a bodybuilder.
The diet in it's original form as sent to me from the dietitian, how is that for backing up my BS?

No one cares what a dietitian said. This is bodybuilding. But you don't care because you already had your answer before you asked. Stop asking then.

Now you think you know about optimum caloric intake when you haven't gained anything in six months?

And yet literally every calorie calculator out there says needed intake is no where near 4000cal, as well as the dietitian.

Again, you had your preferred answer before posting and reject everything anyone tells you, evidence be damned!

All you have done is ask and then bitch and moan about the answers you got since they didn't match the answers you think you already have tightly tucked under you belt at your advanced age and gigantically ripped 170 pounds (with gyno from fucking up multiple things already).

Here you go:

How card is it to actually read? Never once did I suggest 2800 calories was enough, if you actually looked at the diet in the OP you'd see it is 3200 calories, and on the first page it was suggested I up it, and specifically suggested I use milk to make up the deficit, which I agreed to..

..
I would say try to eat around 3000kcal and top up to 4000kcal with milk spaced throughout the day. You wont grow without the correct calories. 4000kcal may be too much but aim for that and adjust accordingly, you will notice if your putting on weight too quickly and can back it down....

Ok so diet has been uped.

It was only on the next page that I told Ahmad I had been eating 2800 calories as suggested by a dietitian (at no point did I say it was enough, I even went on to agree that it had not worked for me)

...At the same time eating a 2800 Calorie diet. In all that time I did not put on a single kg. ...
...Yea you are right so far the real science approach has not worked, and maybe bro science is the answer and I am willing to give it a try, all I was doing was pointing out the hugely contrary figures....

I'd try explain that me wanting to discuss something does not equate to me rejecting something, but clearly general comprehension is hard so I give up.

P.S. I went shopping yesterday for the month and the diet equates to like 3800 calories, I'll see if I can put it all down and then up it to 4k.
I think I will leave the thread there, doubt anything more constructive is going to come from it. Thanks to the few that gave helpful advice.

Yes and if you arent gaining 1-2lbs a month up the cals. Because at 170lbs youre still in the beginning stages and the beginning stages are where you will put on the fastest amount of weight.
