Heating it does the trick when the pip is mild to moderate. If it's severe, I doubt heat will solve it. Like others have said, diluting it with sterile oil will work. Alternatively, mixing it with EQ could work too.
Im curious, the blend of T im using has 150 mg/ml of test E but im shooting small doses subq more frequently. this particular blend does make a lump with every single injection without fail, but other than a mild itch there isnt any pain. is PIP more of a thing with IM than subq? i plan to switch to IM to see if it is better

An immediate lump, like the oil is sitting there (how much are you injecting?), or is there a brief delay, like an insect sting?
TLDR
im using a blend of 150 test e + 250 sus, 400 mg/ml total, no idea the carrier oil. im injecting about 0.28ml every 5 days with a target of about 160 mg a week for trt.
the lump usually forms about 24-36 hours later and disappears after 4-5 days. includes mild itching likely due to mild allergy and having sensitive girly skin.
edit: no pain during or after the injection or elsewise during the time of the lumps existence

That’s your immune system protesting. Do yourself a favor and get your HS-CRP tested.
If it’s > 1, and you have LDL >100, it’s a slow motion disaster of arterial destruction and you should consider switching to something that doesn’t cause that reaction.
You can buy a HS-CRP test at ultalabtests for $35 and get it done nearby.
i will see if my dr will do that. if not ill definitely order that test.
edit: i am living in hawaii so access to a service like this can potentially be limited as is often the case

This has been an ad hoc problem for over 15 years & although there’s been a lot of speculation over the years, no one has ever produced firm evidence as to what is causing PIP at regular concentrations - if you don’t know what the problem is, you can’t fix it.
Yeah, that’s all you can do.
Not sure why warming it pre-injection would solve the PIP issue, unless viscosity of the carrier is adding to the problem - all things being equal (syringe size & needle gauge), the thicker the oil, the more pressure needed to move the oil, so warming the oil beforehand would reduce the viscosity somewhat.

Worth pointing out pharma Test-E doesn’t have this issue, so it’s not inherent to the ester.
To be honest I’d find the lack of knowing what’s causing it to be worrying. All these years and no definitive answer found on testing? Why would anyone assume that’s benign? “Don’t know what’s causing it but I’m sure it’s not hazerdous” lol.
Just use Test-C. It’s nearly identical including price and doesn’t have this problem.

What about Test P ? I know it’s much less convenient then Test C , but I happen to have a fuck ton of Test E and P on hand and I’m just now finding out about this inflammatory stuff with Test E . For the sake of not having to dish out more money on Test C , does Test P have the same issues ?
