GPS systems only work because we calculate the relativistic effects that are required do to relativity. The faster an object moves through space the slower it moves through time thus satellite clocks are always a few milliseconds behind Earth based clocks so we account for that.

And microwaves simply bombard foods with microwave radiation in turn exciting the atoms in the food and in doing so heat is created. The faster atoms vibrate the hotter they become. And photons create the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say the forces underlying nature haven't changed but our understanding of them using the tools and methodology of physics has.
