Hey all,
So today I got home and got a fricken Customs and Border Protection Letter. Apparently on June 8th I had a package with "steroids" seized. This baffled me because I stopped messing with international a good month ago - so who the hell sent me it?
Anyways, if someone with some experience could PLEASE lend some advice... Is there ANYTHING I need to do? It has two pages. The second page has 2 check boxes, one saying "I agree to voluntarily abandon the imported controlled substances"
another says
"I request that CBP commence seizure proceedings" - a formal legal process.
Well I am certainly not picking 2, no fucking way, but do I really need to select #1 and send this shit back? On the first page it says "You may elect to do nothing in response to this notice. The controlled substances will considered abandoned after 30 days and destroyed"
So yea, what is it - do nothing , or select option #1 on the following page?
Any help really appreciated, thank you
