Got this idea from a John meadows video where someone ate a chocolate bar every hour to keep insulin high to gain more weight -I’m on cruise- but would like to keep gaining a bit, already eating 3500 calories

lol... WHY would you want to replicate that??? He was trying to move up a weight class in powerlifting.
You only want elevated insulin when the nutrients for growth are present. Otherwise it’s useless. Now if you had a chocolate bar and a scoop of EAAs...maybe a different story. But that’s only in the enhanced realm since we’re nearly always in an anabolic state with capacity for muscle protein synthesis.Yup that video.
Idk figured if insulin is anabolic then adding dextrose to meals would spike insulin more and keep it elevated throughout the day
