Thyroid levels… should I do anything?

Recently just got labs. T3 & T4 once again came back out of range.
Now thyroid levels and what to do is out of my wheelhouse. Definitely need to educate myself on them.
I’ve never had issues with it coming back out of range until this year.

I know HGH can skew those numbers. I currently take 4IU daily. 2iu am and 2iu pm

Back in April 2024 my thyroid levels came back normal except my t3 was 42%.

Now today my t4 is slightly low with a high t3.

Anything I should be concerned with?
before going to my doctor and seeing if he does anything.

Current doses at time of test.
Fighting off a slight infection as well.
600 Test 300 primo 40 Var 4IU growth.

Do you have a baseline of thyroid levels pre GH?

I would hit the search function and look for posts from Type-IIx on the topic. Here's one I found. He's posted a number of times on GH and thyroid and is knowledgeable on the topic.

People seem to always be looking for excuses to add drugs. GH increases peripheral/extrathyroidal T4 to T3 conversion. There'll be a slight (still within healthy range) decrease in T4 (with concomitant increase in free T3). This is fine and good. If T4 does fall out of range, it's because you were previously undiagnosed hypothyroid. RhGH does not cause but may reveal preexisting central hypothyroidism.

I’ll have to check my labs with my primary doctor.

Appreciate the info! I’ll be reading more later today.

I wrote an in-depth analysis about RhGH & AAS Effects on Thyroid Function in my July newsletter. You can Sign Up for it on Ampouletude: Home of Type-IIx by clicking Sign Up for Type-IIx's Newsletter! and completing the form.. On my Discord [link], there's a #type-iix-dropbox channel where I share unpublished content, and you can grab back issues of the newsletter there as well.

Not sure if I should ask here but I’ll ask anyways does testerone increase t3? I’ll be reading your articles because I want to keep my t3 levels elevated. I seen a study on testerone being used on transexuals and on doses above 200mg a week it increased their t3 levels.

Testosterone increases resin uptake of T3 and decreases T4 in blood, exerting a “pull” from the blood (and decreasing TBG). I wrote about the effects of Hormones (AAS and RhGH) on Thyroid Function in my July Newsletter. You can Sign Up my Newsletter at Ampouletude: Home of Type-IIx
