Hey for all your bros out there that do any type of martial arts, boxer, etc do you have any awesome training programs. I am looking for a program that emcompasses the cardio, agility, and wt training. I have a tournament in a few months and would like to get into better shape.

Cardio is taken care of by training for your fight. You "can" run or do other shit, but it's not really necessary and not all that productive beyond the mental arena. Your fight will be absolutely nothing at all whatsoever in anyway like running 3 miles. HIIT cardio with very short intervals would be more appropriate, but, again, running and throwing punches/grappling have absolutely nothing in common.

I've got a fight in 3 1/2 weeks and I may have one a week earlier than that. My training goes: train my MMA as many days as possible. If I have some extra time, then I lift a weight. Sometimes I even lift two weights. ;)

When you do lift, biceps DON'T MEAN SHIT! Other than that, squats, deadlifts, cleans, rows, RDL's, chins, benches, overhead presses are the beneficial exercises. Real basic, full body shit, yoamsayn?

Oh, I do get up at 5:30 so that I can run, do chins, dips and situps. However, this is primarily to prepare for my upcoming police test, but the daily chins, dips, situps help to keep a decent build and amount of strength and the running can't hurt my cardio. I just dont' expect running to "get me in shape", if you will, for my fight. I expect the 30 minutes I spend sparring with fresh partners every 2.5 minutes to do that.

Biceps dont mean shit? What about can-openers? :)

Anyways, listen to Grizz. He is our resident ass-kicker.

I only do basic lifts as well. Bench, Squats, Deads, Rows, OP, etc. Not only does it build a very strong base but it saves time as well.

As far as cardio, just do training-specific exercises. Grapple until you want to throw up over and over and over... Box until you want to throw up over and over and over...

Who knows, you might be in for a 90 fight like Sak v. Royce. (I am still amazed by that).

P.S. I don't know about Grizzly, but I try to get several full days rest per week. If you practice submissions a lot and lift weights, you get some pretty bad pain in your joints. I guess the combination of extension and stress causes problems.

Can openers are a rowing movement. :)

I usually get a day or two of rest, but I'm fat and I need all the training I can get for the fights. I was out for 3 or 4 months with a messed up elbow.

I know that MMA is Mixed Martial Arts. But what kind of MA do you usually train Grizz?

Really, I train MMA as a specific art. I train all that which will help me win a fight. Boxing, muay thai, BJJ, wrestling, etc. Anymore these days, MMA is an art unto itself as those who practice it practice pretty much anything that would be beneficial in a fight.
