training twice a day while on cycle

who here trains twice a day when on cycle? and if so how do YOU find the results compared to training once a day/ body parts once a week.

what kind of training style/routine do you follow when doing twice a day training also?
 
I train 2x day on and off cycle, same group different exercises. Early will always be intensity, late depending on my condition but if possible intensity otherwise volume.
 
I train twice a day on cycle if I have the day off and my body is telling me it can handle it. I hit the same muscle group twice, first is heavy weight low rep to rip down muscles. Second training light weigh high rep to pump fresh blood into the muscle. I recommend using a lot of bcaa during twice a day training and usually take the next day off.
 
so you guys would do your normal chest - back - legs - shoulders - arms split but do heavy chest in morning 6-8 reps im assuming? then go back in afternoon and do moderate to light weight chest aiming for the pump not going to failure? how do you find the results from that?
 
If you are doing it just for fun or just to try out on cycle then do a planned overreach. Increase frequency and weekly volume by doing the 2x a days for a few weeks, keep going until your performance starts to drop, go a little bit longer, then deload for a few days or so. Basically a really hard intensification followed by a deload, if it was a successful blast you should come back stronger after the deload or at least make some progress in strength. It's basically a crude form of dual factor training, but that is how I would handle 2x day for a bodybuilding routine.
