TRT and Bodyfat

My blood work has placed my test levels at anywhere from 50 to 150 for any given day. Currently I'm sitting at about 16% bodyfat, down from about 30% a few years ago. I've always had an *extremely* hard time dropping bodyfat. What can I reasonably expect in terms of bodyfat loss assuming my testosterone levels were brought into an optimal range? What has everyone's experience been in this area?

My recommendation: see an Endocrinologist. You need someone who knows far more than your PCP now.

In my personal opinion, I think HRT will help you out tremendously.
Yes, it will help you with the body fat, always, and I will repeat, always if you decide to help yourself first by walking, jogging or any exercise that will keep you active.

But most important is follow Swale's recommendation.
He did read what you posted and noticed right away you are seeing the wrong doctor.

click on this link How to Find a New Dr.

and read the last paragraphs, make sure you ask if they are experienced with hrt before you decide to go.

if they are not you can always download and print

Testosterone Replacement Therapy - A Recipe for Success - MESO-Rx .....and give it to them.

take care bro

If you lost the excess fat due to a low fat diet then your low T could be from that. You need fat and cholesterol to produce T.

However, if it's just from a good ol' workout routine and good diet then you should be able to expect some modest losses after starting TRT. No, T does not burn fat but it will help your metabolism a bit and w/building a bit of muscle. This muscle, in turn, burns more calories.

Good luck bro!
