TRT Rookie

Hi everyone,

I’ve been reading along quietly for a while and finally decided to sign up.

I’m male, 44 years old. I was diagnosed with low testosterone and currently use 4 pumps of Testogel daily.

However, I find the gel quite impractical in the long run – it takes a while to absorb, feels sticky, and you always have to be careful not to have skin contact with others until it’s fully dry.

That’s why I’m interested in switching to injections and would like to learn more about TRT – especially regarding dosages, injection sites, and injection frequency.

I used to do a lot of road cycling, and these days I still do light weight training three to four times a week just to stay fit.

My goal is to keep my hormone levels balanced in a healthy way, not to use bodybuilding-level doses or anything like that.

I’m also generally interested in anti-aging and the possible role of HGH, but only from a medical or therapeutic perspective.

I’m looking forward to some good discussions and hope to learn a lot here.

Best regards,

Almost the same age as you. I went the injection route over pellet and gel. I also started 2iu gh nightly about 3 months ago. Wife was the one who really wanted to try the hgh for the anti aging benefits she had been reading about. I will say that pairing those two together and getting your test dialed in is a huge game changer in overall well being compared to how I was feeling at my age prior to optimizing my hormones. I may blast into some trt+ later this winter but for now I'm just enjoying the faster recovery and recomp changes that are happening with my current run and diet.
