How long is a vial generally good for once it's been penetrated by a needle? I've got a few vials I started but won't use completely before the end of my cycle.

It’s all speculation. I’ve personally used the same vial for several months with no issues

the CDC says 28 days, unless specified different by the manufacture. But I would not worry about it.
