USPS Restricted Delivery?

Recevied this in my mailbox instead of package. It states that it is restricted on a generic label and I can pick it up tomorrow. I live in an apartment complex, could this mean it would not fit in my small mailbox?

Was not an officially typed letter.

Only one of those pieces of paper that they will leave in the box that we were unable to deliver a piece of mail because...

It is checked with restricted delivery and also delivery confirmation?

Call down to the front desk and ask if thats fairly normal if they sound funny or say no, then say you were just curious because your not expecting anything.

Was it salmon colored (orangey-pink), and about the size of a big index card? I received one of those before, but my mailman (or mailperson for those pc-inclined) wrote on it, "item to big for mailbox". I picked it up with no problems, but I don't recall it stating anything about a restricted delivery.

i sent a parcel recently(a document) and told the Post office worker it was only meant for person who's name was on envelope.

he said "oh, you want restriced.." ...so he stamped RESTRICTED all over the envelope.
i think its jus tto prevent a roommate of other family member from receiving your parcel.

every time ive recieved a pack that required a sig it had teh signature required box checked. i wouldnt be too worried though. if they wnated you they would have let it go through normally instead of giving you any reason to be suspicious
