VA doctor getting Sus - liver enzymes

Cutting season allowed me to drop 10 pounds in a month. Happened to have a doctors appointment for labs 2 weeks ago and my liver enzymes are slightly high. Like “nothing to worry about but I’ll see you back in 2 months with another liver lab to see what happens”. I’m currently running testosterone e at 500(I just finished my 10 week masteron at 400 cycle) , and I have primo which I’m planning to cruise with and anavar in the mail. I definitely don’t want that going to waste this summer.

Is there anything I can do to keep that liver enzyme low?

(All other labs came back good)

if your liver enzymes are through the roof, just tell your doctor your you have been having tons of raw sex and he will freak out and screen you for every type of hepatitis. It will throw him off your trail completely.

I’m just joking lol. I don’t think you should worry about liver enzymes cus anavar is processed by your kidneys and doesn’t really affect your liver if it is real Anavar. It is highly faked tho so it may still affect your liver if it is something else. I would recommend TUDCA or milk thistle to protect your liver. I take them both all the time. If that isn’t enough just ask your doctor what you can do to help protect your liver. A doctor shouldn’t immediately think anabolic steroids because of high liver enzymes. It is much more common that people have high liver enzymes from drinking too much alcohol.

ya another option would be NAC. But I like TUDCA the best too. I had elevated ast and alt liver enzymes and I brought them back in range with just milk thistle in 2 weeks. I went down for 85 U/L to 30.

I doubt the testosterone or masteron are elevating your liver enzymes.

It's probably just the intense training that is placing the numbers slightly out of range.

My liver enzymes are always slightly elevated with intense training independent of AAS use. I simply abstain from physical activity for 2-3 days prior to blood draw and they quickly fall in middle of range.

Try it and see if it does the same for you over the next few labs.

Appreciate the message. I’m going to try to align it with my rest day and see if that helps. I have been working out twice a day so you’re probably right. I got milk thistle too just now so hopefully that works too.

Thanks guys!

Funny cause I just got results back and my ast and alt were both higher as well. In my case ast 169 and alt 112

I had just hit the gym pretty hard for the first time in years 3 days prior.

An intense workout will throw those numbers through the roof, sometimes 2-3x higher. 2 days off before labs like Millard suggested is a good idea

Ummmm. I’m ex military. Tell him no? You aren’t coming back in 2 months. I don’t understand why us ex military guys think of these doctors as our CO. They aren’t.

If he asks you direct questions tell him to pound sand. You will be surprised how many back off when you confront them strongly.

Lord, I do the same thing with civilian doctors, attorneys and generally anyone who tries to leverage control over me they don’t deserve.

My wife went in for a bladder infection that had become severe and I actually had one of these fuck@tards suggest she may have cheated and it might be the clap or gonorrhea and he needed to take a sample for CDC.

His arrogance and demeanor were astounding. I had that prick up against the wall (didn’t touch him, just walked him in to the wall) with me nose to nose reminding him it is easy for me to find him at home since he decided to make this personal and how patient doctor respect works.

Had to find a new doc, but that was a small price to pay to defend her honor. My wife is the best human being I have ever known and has shown her loyalty and ferocity over and over.

Point… Don’t let over entitled professionals push you around. Don’t let anyone push you around. Pick your battles and stay the course when you do. They are humans and very fallible.

Truly no offense but you sound like an unhinged dick lol. And not in a good endearing way. Like you need help kind of way if this is your response to everyday situations.

Someone's the main character in his own play.

Lol I was just thinking how much I like that guy.

Doctors aren't your boss. When I have a doctor that is being a pain in the ass, I get a new one. Consequently, I have all Dr.s I like now.

I can see someone becoming a bit unhinged for someone accusing their wife of cheating due to a bladder infection. I might react with more reserve, but he didn't hit the guy so there's that.

So... plenty of people, me included, get liver numbers hit by anavar. So it kind of rubs me wrong when I see people parroting the whole "anavar is processed by the kidneys" thing that anabolic doc popularized.

Yes, I've had my anavar tested by janoshik, and yes it happens to me every time I run anavar, with or without tudca or nac. This time I'm using both hoping to keep my numbers is range. We'll see how it turns out.

What Millard said is probably right though, it doesn't seem like what you're taking (test and mast) should be jacking your numbers, so maybe it just is from lifting.

But I get it that you want to run this var, I know the feeling. So just how bad were your AST, ALT, ALP numbers?

If they're not that far out of range, just ignore the follow up. You can get your own bloodwork done privately too if it's a concern.

The best doctor will be one where you can say, hey don't put this in my medical record, but I'm running x,y, and z, and he'll respect that and work on harm reduction with you.

No brother. Not at all. Truly. You would need to understand how Vets are treated to understand the passion in this circumstance. Most vets will get it. This gets under my skin. Perhaps too much.

We are very tired of the arrogance and mistreatment at the hands of an uncaring system and belligerent doctors. All toward men and women who have given everything.

Perhaps to clarify, I don’t respond the way I did with the doctor to all situations. That was a fairly extreme situation and a man that definitely deserved it.

I do tell professionals, attorneys, and other folks to pound sand (as stated above) often. If more folks did they wouldn’t take such advantage. Candidly, I’m unwilling to sacrifice my ethics and morals for others at this age.

Consequence impact is relative to experience.
