Team,

Vacuum pumps, which one should i be looking at to get? are the $30 ones from china ok to use? what sort of flow rate is needed from the pump for the bottle top filtering? Do i need to add in a pressure reg before the filter too?

Many Thanks for the help,

Just connect one end to the bottle top filter and away we go? That easy? No more painful filtering by hand.

I like the sound of this...

i'm using 'same' pump, it does the work, the noise is obnoxious.

do NOT use it with plastic bottom bottletop filter, it WILL crack and your primo will leak all over your stove. ask me how i know. just get a standard GL45 glass bottle and screw the filter onto that.

Yeah the noise is annoying, i normally just shut the door and come back in 20minutes or so

Hello, I bought this pump. They do not have fittings for this type in the store. I connect the pump to the top of a plastic bottle from Millipore and screw it onto the glass bottle. Is the hose only enough if I have no way to connect the air regulator? I don't like the idea that the regulator is mounted in the middle of the hose. I hope my English is understandable.
