Vacuum training?

Rich Piana has some youtube videos, and in his most recent series Better by the day (He's cutting during it) he does vaccuum training at the end of his day or something, can't remember, it's like the 4th or 5th day, whichever is the one he talks about him and sara splitting up at the beginning. Also there are a few forums that explain how to do it and why, I'll add a link in a later post...

Basically, it makes your waist smaller, and contracts your abs and core, making that V shape everybody is going for.

My mom is a MD, I asked her what she thought on it, if it would be bad on my body, or form my bones weird, crush my guts, etc. She said, from what I explained and showed her, it looked perfectly safe, just an aesthetic change to the body, and contraction of muscle.
 
Have been doing them for about 2 months and I definitely think it helps.. I was also cutting so there is that but somehow I feel that the whole stomach is flatter rather than before it was sticking out a little bit even though I was lean

That's very good information thank you mate yes I was concerned about the guts thing tbh
 
That video said to do it 3/4 times a day does that mean 3/4 reps a day or more 3to4 times a day doing a set of 10 reps etc?

3-4 sets a day I'm guessing.. but you don't have to follow him, I would adjust your training to your body man. If you can do like 4-5 times a week, 3-4 times in the morning, mid day, and night, you'll be seeing better results. Than every day 3-4 times a day. Personal opinion though.
