So, i am in prep finally for my show and i started taking Anavar, 25mg ed 3 days ago. My BP is too high and idk if its the var (if its really var), or what. Idk what i should do about it, either. Ive got some stress in my personal life right now and that may be part of it. Suggestions? Should i stop taking it? I was just going to go on and take it for 12 weeks, but maybe i should jsut do 8 weeks? Ive done primo cycle 3 times before and have not had this problem

I would stop taking it for a few days and track your bp. At least then you will know if the gear is causing it.

thats what i am going to do. I talked to a doc friend of mine and he said its a little high, but not high enough for BP meds because that would make it too low. (I guess it would have to be consistently a lot higher). He also said that the biggest problems come when you have high BP for a long period of time, like 10 years. i think some of mine is also caused by stress too, which i have right now. Maybe I'll up my cardio some. I'm doing 3 days a week now because i have to be careful not to lean out too fast but i could add another day or two, and see if that helps

I just had a similar situation with anavar, my bp is normally 120/80. It shot up over 140 / 90. I just finished up with it and a week later, it is going back down. But like the OP, it could be stress/anxiety from my post concussion syndrome.

i might just switch back to Primo since i JUST started this prep cycle. I jsut need something to help me maintain my muscle and since I am female i am limited on what i should be using. I do have access to a plethora of gear tho if anyone has any suggestions. I also have access to Nolvadex, aromasin, arimidex. I read that Nolva may help? That may be broscience. I'm 54, and i still take birth control for HRT although i can stop that and no worries for getting preggo

I don't usually comment on women's use but in this case I will say that if you were using a low dose (15mg or less) as women usually do it may not have been var. Although you could be especially sensitive. At least you have the primo to fall back on.

Well, as of this a.m. BP was down to 122/80 which is completely acceptable. I stopped the var 5 days ago (I think? 6?) and then i started back with Primo Wed p.m. Like i said, I've used it before with no ill effects. I'm also taking CBD (from hemp), magnesium, and hawthorne so may be a combo of those things too? But anyways, its down. I'll keep on taking my BP every morning to keep a close eye for a while.
