These are my bloods before starting anything... ever.
47 when bloods were drawn. 48 now. 5'10, 170
I plan to start Test and HGH at replacement level therapy for a while, get the most out of it that I can, then increase to supraphysiological levels for a first little "blast", and might add another anabolic like mast towards the end of that. Rinse and repeat.
First tests are from my basic annual checkup in June, second tests are from a request I sent to my Dr. to get some additional tests.
The issues, and what I'm doing to address them:
HDL and Triglycerides: I've had out of range cholesterol levels for most of my adult life. Most men in my family do, even some of my younger female cousins do. I'm using reta and am curious if it will impact my triglycerides. I've started using a psyllium husk powder every day. Got more regular with my cardio. My food plan is pretty good. I don't eat fried or oily foods. I'm going back to have my ApoB tested, and run the lipid panel again before starting test. I had a calcium score of 45 in June, and have an appointment for a stress test and echocardiogram this week.
Vitamin D: Started taking a liquid D3 supplement, 500mcg every day
Uric Acid: Started Allopurinol 100mg every day, will retest and taper to eod when levels drop. I've had elevated uric acid since my late 20's. I try to avoid taking allopurinol. I don't always have gout symptoms with elevate levels.
SHBG High: Don't know about this yet. Trying to read and learn.
DHT Low: I take oral finasteride to try and prevent hair loss. I ordered some topical DHT/Minoxidil from Musely to replace the oral finasteride. Will retest in a few months. I was out of refills for finasteride and didn't take it for about 2 months, but started again mid July, a few weeks before my DHT blood draw.
......... I've been recovering slower from my workouts across the past year, and that's what led me to finally start looking into PEDs. I wonder if my high shbg and low dht were contributing to that. But also, age.
The day of my last blood draw, I started taking 2iu of HGH each night, slowly working up to more.
At the same time I started HCG just to see how my virgin balls responded to it.
I'll check those with blood work towards the end of the month.
