Waiting 24hr after brewing to pin?

Read this a couple of times and wondered if it was true. You're supposed to wait 24hr after brewing before pinning the oil to let the BA do its thing.

It's bro science but I usually wait 1 week. Not for ba, but to see if it falls out of solution
