Wegovy

Is Wegovy really worth the extra £ compared to ugl sema ? Also is anyone on here selling real Wegovy? Searched but can’t find it

Semaglutide has so many names because American insurance companies wouldn’t cover it for specific purposes.

Ozempic was great for weight loss but they wouldn’t pay for it if the person wasn’t diabetic (or pre). So they made Wegovy and then doctors could prescribe it to non-diabetics and the pharmacy could charge insurance a shit ton of money for it. It’s all the same stuff at the end of the day. Just pharmaceutical politics making it confusing.

Wegovy is just a brand name for semaglutide. Ozempic/Wegovy are the same formulation. The only difference is for the U.S. market, Ozempic is currently FDA approved for max dose of 2.0 mg per week and Wegovy is approved for max dose of 2.4 mg per week.

someone saying they want wegovy vs semaglutide is like someone saying they only want advil and wont take ibuprofin. wegovy/sema is a lipopeptide with a linear sequence of 31 amino acids, it is the drug, or it isnt. If its the injector pen they want you can get those too.

Because this person only trusts real pharma and will not use qsc or ugl !

Well unless you’re a doctor you can’t get them “real” FDA approved Wegovy.

You can get them the exact same drug for 1/10th of the price, but only Novo Nordisk manufactures Wegovy and sells it pharma.

Maybe your friend will see y’all getting safe results and change their mind later on.

Their loss then. They can go to their doctor and pay the extra hundreds of dollars. Hope they sleep well at night knowing their semaglutide came in a nice branded package.

I've got boxes on boxes of Ozempic and Wegovy sitting in my fridge prescribed by a very liberal doc. These injectors come in a box of 4 and cost me less than anything you can find from UGL.

I didn't use it because I can't eat enough on them. My A1C was high and it was prescribed, and I just kept stocking them up and never asked to stop getting them. I technically don't think I should have the Wegovy but whatever, I'm not the doctor.

It does not need to cost a lot at all going through a doctor if you have insurance.

This is not the case for 90% of Americans. Half of us don’t even have health insurance, the other half still have to pay a shit ton of money out of pocket. Even with insurance it costs me $125 to see my doctor and talk for 10 minutes.

Aaaand this is the reason why counterfeit Wegovy, Mounjaro, Ozempic, and Zepbound pens filled with qsc or cheaper peptides will be sold to people for huge markups. People need the presentation and price of a "legit pharma product" to feel warm and fuzzy about buying drugs illegally. Best part is they will test the same with hplc/feelz and there are no rules against selling counterfeits/fakes here on meso! Or you could just get generic peptides, from reputable vendor, with great track history, and thousands of good reviews, with tons of public testing, for a fraction of the price. But no, pharma superiority it is!

This, why are they even asking someone to procure drugs illegally for them? The only way to get pharma security is to go through legit channels. Why pay somewhere in the middle for neither the benefits of that supply chain, nor the ability to buy a significant amount of the same thing instead?

Finally got my doctor to prescribe it, after being extremely persistent, he/she wrote the script, the pharmacy calls me and tells me insurance isn't going to cover it for weight loss purposes since I'm not diabetic/pre diabetic. that it would be be like $1100/month. Fuck that... lol

Can get 10mg tirzepatide for under $50, or 5mg sema for just a tad more. They work just as well as the pharmaceutical Grade stuff (have tried pharma Sema from a friend who had extra available) and I pay 5% of the price that pharma would cost me. It's a no Brainer really
