okay, ive been poking darts in my ass for about 9 years now, and i cant recall having this kind of reaction before: shortness of breath, breathing in too deep made me cough, feeling dizzy/shaky, heart racing.....this has happened the last two times i injected. ive been using inch long darts this cycle, instead of inch and a half, but nothing like this happened the first three weeks. ive been injecting into my glute in the same spot each time, but i thought maybe i injected into a vein or something. any ideas/comments? a little concerned....

what gear are you on substance and maker? also did u aspirate? you have been taking shots for 9 years you say i would think you would know how not to inject in a vein i am gonna assume you did aspirate so that is gonna make me ask you agian what r u shootin?

Sounds very much like the fina cough or you injected into a vein like the others said. I had that happen over two years ago (last time I used). That sucked like nothing Ive ever experienced.

shootin' 150mg prop with 100mg EQ each shot, both Golden Triangle products from SB. been hittin the same area on each glute for as long as i can remember. i've never once in my life aspirated, never had problems, but like i said, i've always used inch and a half pins, now using inch (22 gauge). are these symptoms of injecting into a vein or what?

dude why the hell have you never aspirated in 9 years what r u nuts? yea you very well could have hit a vein its not like that uncommon dude like once a few months ago 3 shots i hit a vein i didnt shoot cause i aspirated thats what ya gotta do that for man? have you really been using for 9 years and not know that?

also i hit veins alot more often wit 1'' pins so just start aspiratin dude i dont know what it means if you did get some gear iv i just know its not good

An episode of sudden-onset, non-productive cough associated with faintness following an injection is due to a pulmonary oil microembolism. You hit a vein; you need to always aspirate.

I'm on my 3rd cycle, only shot in glutes...
Have never aspirated.....How could you when doing glutes? Its hard enough to try and keep my hand steady while half-twisted around......

yeah, i'm familiar with the term, but like i said, many, MANY shots and never aspirated, and NEVER hit a fuckin' vein, 'til now. so i guess it's time to start doing it huh? anyway, i think my problem is the inch long pin, plus, the injection site is tough to shoot into, so i was moving the needle in and out a little to find some fresh meat, probablyl increased my chances of hittin' a vein, eh? well, no matter what, i'll be aspiratin' from here on out, thanks bros

I aspirate on my glute injections. It takes some coordination but is easy once you figure it out. For example, say that I am giving myself an injection in my right glute. I stand in front of my bathroom mirror, stick the needle in with my right hand, reach behind my back with my left hand to steady the syringe, then I pull back on the plunger with my right hand (if that makes any sense, it is hard to describe but easy to do).

Aspirating on a glute injection is the hardest. I would recommend rotating injection sites among glute, delts and quads. You will reduce the development of scar tissue if you rotate sites.

You may want to give delts and quads a try. These sites are as safe and pain free as the glutes. It is also easier to aspirate on these sites.
