i amd almost 100 percent in gym now after months of healing this up but when i do triceps they kill. I go very light as of now and do close grip bench on smith machine, tri push down but i use the cable with no handle so it gives me a no pain. if i seem to do anything more it kills and gets enflamed im healing it up with a few good systems but still im sure i will have on and off bouts. Chest and shoulders im looking for some good exercises that put less stress on elbow and wrist i usually do decline barbell chest machines for chest and smith machine press and cable move ments. any exercises i could try ?

Even when my tendonitis was at its worst, I could still do dips. Those are great for chest, and also tris.

I say, light weights and high reps. 5-10lb kickbacks, cable machine, and tri-machine.. heck, keep all tris workout to machine if you can.. This will allow you to control and isolate the working muscle. Let the body heal and once it's 100% then increase the weights and smash it!

yea i do only do machines smith machine incline lol is basically a machine after 15 years barbell dumbell only lol. i would think dumbell kickbacks would kill tennis and golfer elbow any movement like that plus using a dumbell would be almost doing the movement that hurts worst with weight lol granted light weight or maybe bands would be a start i am healing trust me my incline close grips are just to keep form and keep reps and stamina high.

kickback with light weights (between 5-10lb weights) will not cause your elbow to flare up.. but if you're kicking back 30-40lb weights.. then maybe :)

didint try 5s but 10 and 15 pounds were causing me to notice pains have not tryed them latley. I also could do alot of exercises the pain would be bearable when i worked out. It was when i was home relaxed it would be the worst

Ouch. You have a different variety from me then.

PRP injections with HGH worked for me. Might want to try that.

Prp did shit for me. But many people get relief from it.

Hgh does not heal tendons. Theres so much info on that out there. But it cant hurt with all the other benefits

What modalities are you incorporating?

I am in the exact situation. Maybe try to some flies for the chest until your 100% healed and lateral and front raises on the delts. This is my current approach

well i took 6 weeks off and started doing about 6 stretches and masssages to it daily for bout 4weeks so far because after the 6 weeks any workout would kill me . im to a point where i can do almost any exercise mostly pain free but ill get bad flareups after but shoulder raises with dumbells were the most painful so much use of effected muscle to stablize and lift those dumbells i love them cant wait to go back i have tennis and golfers elbow so im sure with one it much easier to do exercises that cause me pain

Mr Joyce, glad to see you in such good health, all things considered.

If it still hurts, you need to take more time off. There is no substitute for time with golfers elbow. Sorry mate for being the bad news bearer

They have velcro bands you wrap below your elbow that help me.
I've got tendon pain on the inside of the elbow. They help me get through my workouts. Doesn't fix the problem but I don't want to take time off.

Hes right i was out nearly a year...tri-cep cable push downs with various grips are about it. You will find a grip that stresses the ligament less. Plus lock your elboows into your sides just above the pelvis. It helps with stability.
I go extremely heavy and have now got virtually no pain on inside or outside of my elbow.
Btw...i found taping it just cut off blood to my lower arm.
