What are the consequences of pinning a vein?

Pretty sure this has happened once or twice. Pushing hard through what feels like scar tissue, then a decent amount of blood leak after removing syringe.

Never noticed any effects...but curious as to what worst case scenario is.

Worst case scenario is you bleed out and have immediate heart failure

I'm kidding... at worst there's a little bit of blood, or a potential squirter. Not the end of the world. Veins are very surface level, not deep under the skin, so you can usually feel it very quickly if you knick one, and move the pin away from it (don't continue to push the pin through it) It definitely wouldn't be deep where the scar tissue is

Again, not the end of the world. It's not like you're severing an artery or anything like that

I was thinking more of what would happen due to inadvertently pumping gear into the vein, if that's even possible.

Uhm you'll probably start coughing, not sure what else would happen. Probably nothing good.

If you feel you hit a vein definitely don't inject into it lol, but again veins are surface level so unless you're pinning subq you should be deep enough into the muscle tissue where this won't be an issue

The worst result can be Pulmonary Embolism. That AAS promote pulmonary blockage and cannot deliver sufficient gas exchange and flow.
The symtoms might be short-breath, caugh with blood, chest pain, etc. The immediate medical attention is required before resulting in death.
