So i received bad news today that i have compartment syndrome...not going into full detail but basically too much pressure gets built up in my calves during running or workouts. Its gonna require surgery that is gonna make me be unable to walk for at least 2 months for each calf. Ive never had a major surgery so my question is what should i do as far as training just completely take a break or train upper body while on crutches? May sound ridiculous but ive never had to take a break from training for more than a week before. Let me know your opinions.
