What Injury does this sound like?

Past 7 months everytime I do one arm preacher curls or a bicep curl machine my right bicep hurts once I get into the working sets at the bottom of the movement, right where the lower bicep meets upper forearm. However I can do stansing sb and barbell curls heavy no problem or pain.? This is very annoying and limiting my options
 
Sound like it could be tendons?? Anyone correct me if I'm wrong when doing heavy curls I suspect your elbows are on your lats so when on preacher or curl machine your limited to how it's set up, most machines hurt my wrists so I just try different angles.

I would start on preachers as heavy as you can without feeling pain. then move onto heavier barbell curls when you can use the body abit more to help the movement.

This should help strengthen the tendons and hopefully your symptoms should start to go.
