what oil when homebrewing?

when homebrewing, what oil is best to use? i heard bad things about cottonseed, but whats the best/good?

what did you hear bad about cotten seed just curoius there are a few i would use only one i would be careful wit is peanut oil only becasue peanut allergies are very common and if you are selling this stuff you could killl someone

Animal posted about it. I forget what it was but since you can get grapeseed easily I always use it. You are right about peanut oil. Its fine for yourself but not if someone else uses it.

Cottonseed!!

Guys, keep cottonseed oil out of your gear! Cottonseed contains a compound called gossipol that makes you sterile. While this might sound enticing to many, keep in mind the effects can be permanent in some individuals.

Unrefined cottonseed oil!! The article talks of people cooking with CRUDE cottonseed oil.......UpJohn uses Cottonseed oil...Id on't think A USA Pharm. is gonna leave theirselves wide open for lawsuits
