What supplements to take for elevated blood pressure?

Hey, this is a bit lazy question since I never really cared about blood pressure since mine was pretty decent until about a year ago it started creeping up on dosages of 300+ mg of Testosterone. It's just slightly over, usually 140's/80 when I up my dose, on a cruise it's 130's/80. I wanna manage it better, but possibly avoid meds since they come with side effects. Anyway, I appreciate to hear your story, and if you use meds or think it's necessary which ones are the best for us? Telmisartan, but is it alone good enough. Thanks for your time.

Stan Efferdings blood pressure quick fix. If that doesn't work telmisartan 80mg or 100mg losartan. Losartan will lower it. Take at night for no sides. Telmisartan may lower it and comes with better extras but sometimes it won't lower it unless taken with a combined drug like telmisartan/ amlodipine. You just need to try and see. Losartan alone is the best on me but it doesn't lower hematocrit like telmisartan.

Thanks man, telmisartan dose must be that high? I read others take like 40mg and it helps them. I don't fully understand the hype then, apart from LVH, if it doesn't do much then perhaps lisinopril is better option? I once took it on high test and oxy cycle, so it helpes somewhat and I didn't notice sides much.

Okay, I find supplements to be only minor help.

What about telmisartan, any experiences? Is 40mg the starting dose or it won't do shit?

Mine is not crazy, but still on the high side of high 140's/80 on Testosterone blasts. I'd like to lower it to 130's or so.

Edit: I'd like to use the least amount of drugs, hence I blast test only.

40mg is good enough for me. I start with 40mg and can maintain with that dose. Give 14 days for it to start working before increasing your dose if need be. I start seeing a decrease in BP around 10 days.

140/80 isn’t bad considering you’re on gear.

I personally take 20mg telmisartan and it does the job. Dosages will vary depending on weight and amount of gear on cycle
I guess it's not, it used to be lower couple years ago. Still I wanna be proactive and prevent it from elevating. My weight is usually 220-230 on a cruise and about 240-245 on a blast, I don't do big dosages anymore, I sort of just blast to regain muscle memory and strength so 300-500mg of Testosterone only. Thanks.

I think I might just try it at 40mg, since it's half life is 24h, I think once daily will do in the morning? Also anything else I should know before hopping on?

40mg works for some, While others need 80mg on only trt. It really is individual on how AAS affect blood pressure and how you respond to the BP medication and dosage. I would start at 40mg first though!

I have read data that showed people who take their telmisartan at night (before bed) have a slightly lower chance of cardiac events than people who take it in the morning.

Start wherever you want man. For right now it’s like a bodybuilders wet dream because of the benefits with low risks. My doctor started me at 20mg because I was in the 130s/80 which wasn’t even considered “high” until 7 years ago.

You’re the only one who knows if this is a lifestyle or AAS issue so the dose you take is gonna be up to you. Stay safe bro

Telmisartan is a total game changer for me, even without TRT I am always at the higher range. Should be sold OTC and not by prescription.

20mg wasn't enough, 40mg is working for me. Got throat pain as a side effect. Have to take some OTC meds to counter that. But it's worth it.

But since you asked for supplements. Try Berberine, Arginine, Taurine. All work very well for lowering bp. I take them as an additions as well.

Okay, thanks for advice. I'm seriously thinking about 40mg too.
Great! Good luck brother

The main reason I recommend starting at 40mg, is because I stupidly started at 80mg and I got dizzy and started seeing black spots in my vision while i was driving. Luckily my girlfriend noticed and grabbed the steering wheel long enough for me to pull over. Obviously my BP got dangerously low. I attribute this to an inaccurate BP cuff and starting at 80mg because the BP cuff was not accurate.

I historically have slightly elevated bloodpreasure on blast.
Nothing dietary or supplementary helped for me.

Tried dandelion root and other herbal diuretics
Garlic is in most of the meals i prepare.
omega3s, CoC10, and sources of mag and potassium is already in my daily stack.

Eventually added 40mg of Telmisartan in ED before bed and have noticed nothing but strict improvements to how i feel day to day and my BP numbers.
no negatives to speak of anecdotally

Telmisartan alone isn't helpful for me. I take 100 mg of losartan daily and it keeps my BP at 115/70 on average. I got some serious control on my stress as well and I know that helped drop my top number even more than with medication alone.

Telmisartan lowers mine but not much on the top number. Losartan gets it to 120/80. I'm on Telmisartan/amlodipine now . It's better but not perfect but I still take it for now. If it gets higher go back to losartan. 140/90 isn't horrible but I don't like ever seeing 150/100. I never go over that.

I’m running a fairly high dosage blast right now (2000mg + 8iu hgh/slin) and BP jumped all the way to 159/95 from 127/76. Hopped on 80mg of telmistartan nightly which lowered it all the way to 130/85. Added 5mg of cialis a day and now I’m sitting at 120/80.

My stubborn ass tried to maintain BP with cardio alone for the longest time but that only went so far.

Cardio is definitely helpful, but BP kept creeping up. Now stable on 16 mg candesartan, 5 mg nebivolol, and about an hour of cardio daily.
