Here is my answer to this, when someone hits on my girl I have never had to step in cause she stops that shit as soon as it starts. She shouldn't be letting guys flirt with her.
If she doesn't let it escalate to the point where a guy will try and physically touch her then everything should be cool.
Obviously I think we are all in constant fear that one day there will be some huge motherfucker with all his huge friends that will try and push the boundaries thinking you won't do shit.

Only a guy who doesn't know how to fight would assume a smaller guy isn't good at fighting because he does not have a large stature.
I have done a bit of fighting and I would never make the error of thinking I have an advantage if I am bigger than the other guy or if he is bigger than me etc.
In a confined space there may be a slight advantage to size all things being equal.
I would look for other indicators than size to estimate an opponent.
Also two basically similar skilled guys, the one with the best cardio will almost always win over any other factor.
As to the OP, i am no white knight for a sloot. some women enjoy seeing guys compete for them and get off on watching them fight over her, that is a suckers game.
I would let the other guy happily have the lady if she is like that and thank him for it (a man don't need to support that kind if women), assuming you banged her hard at least once first.

We don't fight around here, everyone down south is polite... polite and armed. No one world ever think of touching your girl, doing so would equal an ass beating from complete strangers even. Concealed carry laws really calm motherfukers down as there are consequences for negative behavior. No matter how late at night or how bad of the city you are in people are polite. I always carry my Kimber 1911 TLE II or engraved Colt 1911 on me and my friend... an NRA instructor... is always armed as well. I'm sure a good amount of people are conceal carrying. Lots of open carry also. Drunk college kids? Can be crazy like we all were but friends step in and hold them back or apologize for their behavior at clubs. Polite.

Interesting you bring up the beach however, the one time down south I did have an issue with my girlfriend (wife now) was in Florida clubbing late at night she was being hit on and heckled at by a lot of guys. They were obviously drunk but it still bothered her. I didn't step in and say anything because it was over a dozen guys over the course of a few hours and none became physical. They were really coming out of the woodwork. I'm too old to club now!
