When off TRT to regain fertility?

Is there like a general term when one should go completelly off TRT, if they wanna be fertile. I am aware that it would take 6 months at the minimum to regain fertility as in sperm count etc., but is there a general ruling that e.g. no more than 1 yr on TRT to reduce chances of getting fertile ever again?

Or can it be 2yrs etc? I guess its different for each individual. But what is the general knowledge and your all opinion it, i'd kindly appreciate if you were to share it.

I think the outcomes vary so wildly that there is no general rule. I also have not known of someone who was unable to regain fertility if they were fertile before hopping on no matter the length of time.
Of course if you add low dose hCg to your cycles it will help maintain your testicular function as well lessen the amount of time it takes to fully regain a "fertile" level of sperm quantity and quality if that is a concern.

There are guys who are on grams of the most suppressive compounds there are for lengthy periods of time who end up getting their SO pregnant mid cycle and there are guys who go on 200mg/week trt and have 0 sperm within 6 months.

Also with the right protocol you can regain sperm count, motility, and morphology to acceptable levels sooner than 6 months. Taking hCg + rFSH/HMG optional but some add in clomid/enclomiphene as well. Along with this remove all stressors and habits that cause oxidative stress (smoking, drinking, eat better get good sleep) as well as adding in compounds such as glutathione, NAD+, HGH, L-Carnitine.

Bottom line if you need TRT to improve your health and quality of life and are worried about future fertility issues just add in hCg - in most individuals 250mcg 2x/week is enough.
