Actually, she's not on any TRT. For about the last two years she has been having numerous recurring immune problems. Constantly gets sick, various skin and bladder infections....just a total train wreck. The doc has tried every test he could think of but he can't figure anything out. I know it's some sort of immune disorder since some of the tests showed this (problem is there are several sub-tests that showed she was immune deficient but the "total" test showed she was fine so the doc took that one as gospel)
As for the hormones...she got a hysterectomy March 04. Ovaries are still intact. Doc said she may see reduced E production since some of the bloodflow to the ovaries is reduced. So far no problems with E. However, since then she has experienced more hair growth in non-feminine areas (ie face and chest) and that hair growth has become more wiry. So, went to doc to check to see if T/E ratio was off or if T was high. He told her E was a little high and T was fine. Well, I just got a look at the labs on friday and the E was fine but the T was low. T was 25 on a scale of 35-100. We're going to ask him to repeat the test.
