Workout intensity at 1600kcal cut

I weigh 198lb pretty solid. i would guess maybe 17%bf not sure though. I also A trt guy on a blast, well a mild one. 350-400mg of test E weekly, and just started 50mg Anavar 30mg@7AM and 20mg@5pm. Also running Gw01516 20mg.

I recently switched to a full body split that goes something like this
Day1: chest/back
Day2: shoulder/bis/tris
Day3: legs/core
Day 4:light cardio
Day5: repeat day 1

I was getting through workouts pretty good. For 3 weeks. Sometimes i would take off on cardio day or i might miss a day bc of work. The was pretty good with keeping intensity. I keep 12,10,8 rep range mostly all to failure and even add drop sets. I know thats probably alot on my body.

Since i started cutting a few days ago, im struggling to get through workout with intensity. Im stilling trying to add muscle and push my self to.go heavier and leave no reps in reserve but i literally was really really struggling yesterday. Should i maybe lower my volume and not being going to failure? I know alot of guys say they still go heavy when cutting to maintain there size so any feeback and previous expierence from you guys would be helpful

Your calories are probably a bit low is why you are feeling run down.

Personally at your stats I would increase the calories so you have some more energy to power through your workouts. Just start doing cardio everyday (low intensity) so you are still in a deficit to lose weight.

Are you eating preworkout or do you train fasted?
 
I usually need to eat like 2 hours before a workout. Honestly now i think about it the day i was shot was sunday and i think i went to the gym fasted. Thanks for bringing that to my awareness. I went a little over today at dinner i was starving and wanted a decent workout. I hit 1900 kcals. So maybe ill try staying their and slowly drop and play around with a sweet spot i can tolerate. What is the science on cutting and lifting heavy still. Bc i would assume you wont recover much since your body is in a catobolic state no?

The hardest part of cutting is getting more in the habbit of not eating for taste. Which can sometimes be impossible when you go out to dinner with friends on the weekend and you see bacon and melted cheese everywhere!!When i bulked forget it. In a 2 month blast i had to start buying new shirts. Bc my chest grew like crazy. With that beeing said i wasent as cut as i would have liked.
 
I hate stimlulants. I have a shit ton of ritilan like alot i got prescribed and took it a couple of times and atopped taking it. Lmao but it definitely did make me forget all about food. I think i went 7 hrs with out even thinking of food a couple doses in. Im an ex addict well coke head. So i really hate the way stimulants feel bc it reminds of coke when it wears off. No where near as bad but. That is a pretty decent suggestion though maybe i will give ephedrine a try.

Also i do have a shit ton of clen i was planing on adding toward the end of the cut. Ive taking it a handfull of times before but i dont think clen helped with eating.

Last night i woke up wide awake at 3am with my stomach growling i settled for a protein bar. Im almost pretty sure last time a cut which was a while ago after about a week into the cut. Food cravings did die down alot.

Very sound advice, many make mistakes as the author of this post. But your advice is excellent.
