and do trt guys do nolva.?
No and no. Why would 50mgs every 5 days (10mg/day) work better than 100mg every 7 days (14.3mg/day)? I don't think Nolva has no place in TRT.

During the time when I was ramping up my dose of cyp, my doc had me injecting sub-Q. I didn't have nearly the bothersome effects from the sub-Q injections as I did from any other approaches I have tried. Granted, these were sub-optimal doses and sub-Q may not be the best way to take cyp. But, to me, sub-optimal TRT is better than none at all.

I use Nolva from time to time for a couple of weeks to help stimulate some natural Test. For me, it helps to reduce atrophy, and increases my sex drive above and beyond my normal HRT. Could be due to a temporary elevation of my Total T while on the Nolva. Not all of us are privileged enough to have a script for HCG and Nolva is readily available. So I think that Nolva can have a use in HRT, although there are other options, also even at HRT doses some people are susceptible to gyno. As far as using 50mgs/5days of Test Cyp, this should be enough to bring your Test levels up to the mid normal range. Even if 30% of it is an oil suspension, that's still 7mgs a day and more then most AndroGel users are getting at 5mgs a day. I say if that is what is on the table for you from your Doc, take it for a couple of weeks and have your blood work done. If it isn't enough you can always request an increase.

Nolva does have a place in TRT--GYNO!! Some guys get it and Nolva takes care of it. As far as a pseudo replacement for HCG I can't say. Some claim it works well. I don't think there have been any long term useage studies done though.

50 every 5 days is better than nothing. If you are just considering an alternative to 100/7 then I'd recommend trying 60 every 3.5 days. It's not a direct split of dosage even when the days are split directly.

If you are seeing spikes and lows in your HRT then maybe more frequent injections are the answer, but you would want to work with your Dr., and as the first response indicated most likely keep the same dosage overall.

I believe the original idea for Cypionate injections was to be once every two weeks. Some people go once a week to keep the levels more even (as I do), but some even have problems with once a week.

If this is your problem then you may want to try the gel which is an every day application.
