Hello Meso! Thanks for dropping in and checking out my first cycle log.

Stats:
40 y/o
5' 11"
Currently 222.6 lbs
About 12% bf

Background:
Last year I did finally compete, and did so in MP. Although I wanted to compete in open BB, I just didn't want the mass yet. Since the age of 13, I've lifted weights thru out the years, while always priding myself on being a natural athlete. I'm now 40, and this year was the first time I ever touched any PED. I ran a cycle thru my 16 week prep. The objective of my cycle was to maintain my LBM, because in the past I've lost lots of lean mass in order to cut down to single digit BF %'s.

I began my 16 week prep at 232-lbs and at 20% BF (LBM: ~185), and was able to compete on stage at 193-lbs at 4% BF (LBM: ~185-lbs). I didn't place as well as I had hoped in the 4 competitions that I did this year, but there is more to MP than the physique such as hair style, posing routine, smile, smell of your perfume :p, etc., but I felt my physique was on point. I accomplished what I had set out to do, and that's what was important :D.

My cycle off the top of my head was:

Test E 300mg - Wk (Split twice a week with a 2 week initial start, pre-contest weeks 16-12)
Test Prop 200mg and tren A 150mg - Wk (EOD split pre-contest weeks 11-8)
Test Prop 300mg and Tren A 225mg - Wk (EOD split pre-contest weeks 7-1)
anavar 40mg - ED (pre-contest weeks 7-0)

adex (On Cycle)

Also for weeks 6-0
ECA stack (on weeks off clen (ED))
Clen started at 60mcg, ended at 120mcg (1week on, 1 week off (ED))
t3 started cycle at 75mcg, ended at 150mcg (ED)

I've chosen to run Pharmacom (Darius). @Darius PharmacomStore had great feedback and I was very happy with his customer service in answering my messages quickly and thoroughly. Hopefully there is no problems with product.

Goals:
This year I would like to compete LHW or Classic. I prefer the Golden Era look with focus on aesthetics. I would like to be a solid 205-lbs stage ready. I am currently sitting at ~223-lbs at 12% BF (LBM: ~192-lbs). I had a pretty heavy off season and started calorie restrictions a couple of months ago. I've dropped 20-lbs of BF already these last 2 months so that I could bring my BF% down in order to begin this next cycle.

Diet:
I don't stick to a specific diet. As long as I'm in a deficit, I will lose BF. I will start off with a std 40/40/20 and adjust accordingly. My calories will sit between 2500-3000 daily.

Proteins: Steak, Chicken, Fish
Carbs: Rice, Creme of Wheat, Oatmeal, Yams, White Potatoes
Fibers: Broccoli, Kale, Asparagus, Spinach

Training:
I was training 5 days on / 2 days off, no cardio. I am now 2-3 days on / 2 days off (or daily if I feel up to it), cardio 40min daily. No specific routine. I base my days on feel.

With he holidays, I figured shipping would be a little delayed, and in turn would throw a little delay on the start of my cycle. I had planned that I would begin my cycle on Monday (28 Dec 16) with NPP and Anadrol, however no package ... until today.

Received package 1 of 2, and everything looked nice and neat. I received my NPP and Prop, but am still waiting on my Anadrol. I guesstimate that it should be here by the end of the week.

I went ahead and went down to my local LabCorp to do my pre-cycle blood work. The last few days were a bit of a pain because I had been fasting in hopes that I'd receive my gear and do the BW panel same day as delivery. Glad that's done with, lol.

After my BW, I did my first 40mg pin of NPP. Now I know the majority feel that some form of test should be ran with NPP, but I am choosing to hold of on the Prop I have to see if my dosage of NPP is tolerable. In addition, keeping the NPP by itself will allow me to see any reactions, if any, that may be harder to decipher if I was on more than one compound. So the delay with the Anadrol worked out anyways. My plan is to start pinning the Anadrol on Monday, if it gets here in time. This will give me about 5 days of NPP only.

I also started my ECA stack on Monday and began 50mcg T3 today. My appetite never really is that great the first couple of weeks at the start of my prep, but I'm hoping that the NPP changes that. I've read that Anadrol can conflict with that and kill my appetite, but it's just something I'll have to see for myself.

No package today and nothing to report on the NPP just yet. Hoping I'll notice effects by day 7, if not sooner. Did increase dosing today to 80mg/NPP just to see. I noticed the slightest of PIP from yesterday's poke, and just wanted to see if there was an increase of PIP with an increased amount; there slightly was.

I pin glute and ventro-glute, but I plan to try pinning quads. I'm a little nervous about that, but the thought of the ability to pin with no struggle makes it sound worth the effort, lol. I'd like to try pinning shoulders as well, but from my research that seems to change the half life.

AM cardio done. Just 40mins of treadmill [brisk walk]. Legs were sore from yesterdays leg day, so no stairs. About to head off to do some Shoulders.

Weight this morning was 221.4-lbs.
 
I really dont notice the pain relieving effects of npp for 10-14 days. I have used pharmacoms npp and it was def on point.

Happy New Year Meso!

Well no packages today, but no rush. Been thinking about my cycle and have decided to increase my NPP to 420mg/wk and shorten the length to 8 weeks. After a lot of research, it just appeared that doing 200-280mg a week would be more on the therapeutic side, and I really want to have the initial part of my cycle be about putting on some size.

I decided that I'll start pinning the NPP eod at 120mg until I jump on either the Prop or the Drol. Today I pinned 140mg just to again see if there was any increase with PIP or anything else funky. It's been about 8 hours since I pinned, and all is good. :D I'll start my day off of pinning tomorrow.

My initial plan was also to jump on the Drol ASAP, but I'd like to hold off and give the NPP some time to show what it can do on it's own. This cycle is also about seeing how my body reacts to these compounds. I'd like to hold off of adding anything for at least a few weeks. Today I did notice that there did appear to be a little ED, something not common. Tested with Mrs and it took a bit of time to work me up.

Today I hit arms and 40mins of cardio. Pump felt great, but nothing out of the norm.
 
So all your on right now is npp?

Yes, just on NPP. I want to try and keep it that way at least for the next few weeks. I'll stretch it out longer if I can.

In addition, I have not started anti-prolactin (caber), but do have that on hand in case I need it.
 
That could b why the ED issue has happened, doesn't happen to everyone but it does happen to some. Personally i would never run deca without test, especially if putting on size and adding strength is the goal. Also helps with any libido issues.

Yeah, I expected the ED and libido problems to be an issue with NPP. A little excited that I am feeling what I am though - tells me something is working, lol. I've read a lot about the issues of running an NPP only cycle, and I do really want to run Test just to combat that possibility, but I need to see how I react to this by itself. And if it's tolerable, then that's one less compound to run. When I do run test though, it will just be a TRT dosage. I believe I should really see some magic when I bring in the Anadrol though, regarding the strength and size, at least that's what I hope to see.

Well sounds like you have a plan and i think its a real good idea to run lower doses and c how you react to different compounds. For many years i never went above 250mg a week and i had great results in strength and size so i dont see why you wont have similar results.

No cardio and no pin today. Was going to take the day off but chest felt good, so I hit it. Rest of the body is ready for a rest tomorrow.
