I thought you were doing the HST, but only weeks 5 & 6 is where your truly doing your bulking. I've always had my best gains putting on the muscle, and then using an HST to improve the foundation. The body does respond best to shock, but you can also get that by changing up your exercises. An example would be wide grip lat pull downs one day, then do wide grip chin ups the next workout, and a under hand grip pull down with a super set chin up the next. Keeps the body from adjusting much the same as the HST method. To me it looks like with all the extra curricular activities/cardio/high reps your going to burn off a good chunk before you have a chance to keep it on.

This. Everyone has their opinions on workouts, gear, and nutrition. What it all boils down to is we really don't know shit. Common wisdom says higher reps, higher volume for cutting and heavy weight lower reps for bulking. i actually grew post cycle last year by going high volume. In traditional thinking that would be the worst thing to do post cycle, yet it made me GROW. ??? I was also following an intermittent fasting program then which flies in the face of traditional bb doctrine. What I think it all boils down to is consistancy. If you are consistantly training and eating well, you will see results. Don't get all in your head about best cycle, best routine, best diet plan. Just pick some and get with it. :D Good luck on your cycle man.

Yup. I'm following a proven weight gain routine, plus I think most of it is eating right, and eating everything lol
 
2nd HST workout today. Seems like these 15 reps will consistently take me 2.5 hrs. Think I'm getting stronger since it was as easy as the first workout and I've added more weight today. Up a total of 8lbs today. I'm sure there's some water, started week 3 of Dbol on monday
 
Update: moved from Arkansas to Cali, Hollywood area. 27hrs on the road, haven't been able to check my weight the last 3 days, diets been whatever I can get my hands on while on the road. Diets coming back good and workout is tomorrow. Stoked

Yah a lot of history at that place is amazing place to see. Not just for the gym but the whole beach is very interesting to say the least. Big change for you going from Arkansas to Cali, hope you enjoy it. You will love the weather down there for sure!

I was going to check out a Golds Gym near by, I'll be closer to Santa Monica next month after I find a new place to move to.
 
Yah the more I start to look at my diet and what it takes to eat right I feel I'll be in the same boat as you as far as being overstuffed. Clean calories go a long way in your stomach.

Arms: 13.5" - 13.5"

Forearms: 11" - 12"

Quads: 23" - 23.5"

Calfs: 15" - 16"

Waist: 30.5" - 31"

Neck: 15.5" - 16.5"

Like I said, the last thing to grow is my biceps lol
