The AP reports that 11% high school students have injected synthetic hGH - 9% of girls and 12% of boys have tried it at least once. At least, that's what the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids wants people to think. This compares with 7% of teens who reported using anabolic steroids during the same period.

Even though synthetic hGH is a pharmaceutical drug not sold in sports nutrition stores, the Partnership and USADA CEO Travis Tygart blamed the sports supplement segment's marketing of "performance-enhancing supplements" for the doubling of teen self-reported hGH use.

It seems obvious to most, even to the Partnership and USADA, that the teens were probably referring to "muscle-building" supplements they bought over-the-counter and online rather than any real synthetic hGH.

I saw that this morning, the article seems to contradict itself. I do not know of many muscle building supplements you can inject OTC. These kids/USADA are full of shit.

I don't believe either . The ones that took AAS in my school are people that played sports and lifted and I can't imagine that's more than 5 percent of the school played sports and even smaller for AAS usage .

How do kids even afford hgh?

I do believe that some high school age kids inject, but no where near 11% or 9% of the entire youth population. I think anytime a survey is taken with kids its going to be flawed due to their immaturity. And who knows if there is a hidden agenda behind this report.

High school kids don't have the common sense God gave a dog so how the hell are they sourcing it.
They might be injecting something but I doubt it's legitimate growth hormone

lmao. the media portrays peds horribly. remember what 90k of gear looked like? lmfao

Yes they do and it makes everyone and their mother demonize them. Its funny because cigarettes and chewing tabaccoo are so much worse for you. They really need to see the big picture here.

I want to meet high school kids that can afford legitimate growth hormone.
I Second that, these Kids can Barely Afford a Pack of Cigarettes, or a Weekly Transportation Pass to ride Public Trans.
Now, some No Account Asswipe of a News-Reporter is trying to say that they can Afford HGH.
I saw that Yesterday, on the Morning News, and I was like WTF, you are All a Bunch of Sensationalizing Idiots, not Worthy of the Title of News-Reporter................ JP
